Join us for the 2nd Annual Disability Summit, a half-day event focused on disability inclusion, belonging, and accessibility. Hosted by UHW Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD), the Office for Civil Rights Office of the ADA Coordinator, and MSU Libraries. The Summit will feature keynote speaker, disability advocate, and author Haben Girma, networking opportunities, poster presentations and more.
Free copies of Girma’s book, Haben Girma: The Deafblind Woman Who Conquered Harvard Law, will be available (first-come, first-served), with a book signing opportunity.
In addition to this year’s in-person event on October 3, the Summit will be complemented by a series of virtual sessions held on Fridays throughout the month of October to honor MSU Disability Pride Month and keep the conversations going.
Check out the agenda and register today! Participation capped at 200 attendees.
