Join the Blue Cross® Winter Warm Up 5K Training Program at MSU

 

Set your winter fitness goals with the free Blue Cross Winter Warm Up 5K Training Program. This eight-week program runs from January 20 to March 15 and is open to all ages and abilities.

 

Training sessions are led by certified Good Form Running and Walking coaches at sites throughout Greater Lansing, including MSU’s campus. University Health and Wellbeing hosts its training program on:

 

  • Mondays and Wednesdays
  • 5:00–6:00 PM at Bessey Hall, Room 108

 

Participants will warm up with guided stretches before heading out on routes like the scenic River Trail. Weekly emails with training and nutrition tips keep you motivated throughout the program.

 

The program concludes with the celebratory Blue Cross Winter Warm Up 5K Walk/Run at Hawk Island on March 15.
