Courtney received a Bachelor of Business from Michigan State University and a master's degree in public health/human nutrition from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining MSU in 2024, Courtney worked for Kellogg Company and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where she gained over 20 years of experience project management and promoting and protecting organizational reputation in roles such as Nutrition Marketing, Consumer Affairs, and Corporate Responsibility.
