Jaimie Hutchison, MA, LPC

Associate Director of Engagement for Health Promotion, Engagement, Accessibility, and Accommodations

Jaimie has been with the Worklife Office since 2018 and became the Director in April 2022. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University, and then went on to receive her master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of North Colorado. She also received her Post Master’s Certificate in School Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.

Jaimie is from Lansing, Michigan and has professional interests in workplace wellbeing, values-based leadership, self-care, community engagement, DEI, psychological safety, and personal health and wellbeing.

She is the President-Elect and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee for the College and University Work-Life-Family Association (CUWFA). Dedicated to civic engagement, she has volunteered over 10,000 hours in her communities. She loves to travel, kayak, and spend time in nature with her friends and family. Jaimie is engaged in community work around DEI, leadership, and empowering women and girls . She also is a community advocate for routine health appointments, preventative care, and cancer patient support and advocacy.
