Tana received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies from Grand Valley State University. She then went on to receive her Masters of Social Work degree from Michigan State University.
Tana is passionate about ending gender based violence, trauma informed services and survivor-centered services, vicarious trauma, intersectionality, health equity, animal assisted interventions, and title IX.
Tana has been appointed to the MSU Expert Advisory Workgroup on Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct since 2018.
