Who we are
The Center for Survivors is dedicated to providing compassionate, survivor-centered support for individuals impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, harassment, and other forms of interpersonal violence. Our highly trained staff offer free and confidential counseling, advocacy, and support groups for Michigan State University students, faculty, and staff.
Our 24-hour crisis hotline, crisis chat, and advocacy services are available to anyone in the greater Lansing community. We also operate a residential shelter for survivors of relationship violence, stalking, and harassment in Ingham County.
Through our Sexual Assault Healthcare Program, specially trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) provide 24/7 medical forensic care and support to sexual assault survivors in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, and Shiawassee counties. Services are available up to five days following an assault and are provided at no cost to survivors.
You are not alone. Support, information, and options are available whenever you need them.
