MSU’s Center for Survivors Crisis Chat is staffed by volunteer crisis advocates from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST, seven days a week.
Our volunteers provide support to survivors of sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual harassment, as well as friends, family members, and other supportive individuals.
You do not need to be in crisis to use Crisis Chat. Whether you have questions, need emotional support, or want help understanding your options, we are here to listen and help.

The Center for Survivors is a confidential resource. Information shared during Crisis Chat is not reported to the university, law enforcement, or other offices.
However, there are limited circumstances in which we are legally required to break confidentiality, including:
