Sexual Assault Healthcare Program (SAHP)
Specialized medical and forensic care from Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) following a recent sexual assault. Patients can expect compassionate, confidential care focused on their health, safety, and choices.
A SANE will explain each step, answer questions, and offer options for medical assessment, injury care, prevention medications, evidence collection, advocacy, and follow-up resources. Patients decide which services they want to receive.
Specialized forensic nursing care including:
Safe Place Shelter
Emergency shelter and supportive services for survivors of relationship violence, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence.
Safe Place staff can help with safety planning, advocacy, basic needs, housing-related concerns, transportation, referrals, and connections to counseling or other ongoing support.
