Dear Colleagues,
As we settle into the fall semester, now is a great time to take an important step to protect your health and the health of those around you by getting your annual flu shot.
This year's campaign theme, "Skip the Sick," highlights a simple truth: spending a few minutes getting vaccinated now can help you avoid days of illness later. Flu vaccination remains one of the most effective ways to reduce your risk of getting the flu and to help prevent its spread among family members, friends, colleagues, and our broader campus community.
To make vaccination as convenient as possible, University Health and Well-Being is sponsoring several flu vaccination clinics across campus in the coming weeks. Free flu vaccines will be available to eligible employees, retirees, and their benefits-eligible dependents ages 6 months and older.
These clinics are offered on a walk-in basis, and no appointment is required.
Date | Day of the week | Time | Clinic Location | Room |
9/30/26 | Wednesday | 11:30am-1:30pm | VDL | 101 |
10/6/26 | Tuesday | 11:30am-1:30pm | Main Library | Green RM W444 |
10/20/26 | Tuesday | 11:30am-1:30pm | Engineering | Dean's Conference Room 3405 A |
10/27/26 | Tuesday | 11:00am-1:00pm | VET MED | A174 North |
11/3/2026 | Tuesday | 11:30am-1:30pm | FRIB | 1221A |
Whether you're working on campus, supporting students, conducting research, or enjoying retirement, getting vaccinated is a simple way to help create a healthier MSU community for all.
Thank you for doing your part to help us Skip the Sick this flu season.
Sincerely,
Tim Spedoske, MD
