Swapna Hingwe

Biography

Swapna Hingwe has served as the Director of Michigan State University’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services since March of 2024. Prior to this role, Swapna served as Associate Director of Psychiatry within CAPS and has worked in the field of collegiate mental health for 16 years. Swapna earned her B.S. in Psychology and her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. She then went on to medical school at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the MSU
