Biography
Melissa is a nurse and midwife. She completed her first undergraduate degree in Gender Studies at Elmira College in 2007, her second undergraduate degree in Nursing at the University of Southern Maine in 2017, and her graduate degree in Midwifery at the University of Michigan in 2020. Melissa spent the first ten years of her career working as a teacher for children with developmental disabilities in her home state of Maine.
