Pronounced: Ah-vuh Avvan received her B.A. in Psychology with double minors in; Health Promotions and Organizational Leadership, as well as her Master's in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. Before working at Center for Survivors, Avvan had worked extensively with ESL (English Second Language) Students, MSU students at CAPS (Counseling & Psychiatric Services), and MSU Student Athletes.
