Biography

Christie is from Traverse City, Michigan and ventured downstate as a first-generation college student. She received her Bachelor's Degree in French from Grand Valley State University and Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan. Christie began volunteering as an advocate with the Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention team then joined the Center for Survivors full time as a therapist in 2020.
