Volunteers

Your time, energy, and compassion help us foster a welcoming environment, keep our operations running smoothly, and ensure that vital resources reach those who need them most. By coming together in service, we’re not just meeting immediate needs—we’re cultivating a community where everyone has access to nutritious food, essentials, and the opportunity to lead a healthy, dignified life.

As a volunteer, you’ll support the MSU Food Bank & Basic Needs Program by:

  • Welcoming guests and creating a friendly environment

  • Preparing and distributing food orders for program participants

  • Stocking shelves and assisting with weekly food deliveries

  • Sorting and organizing incoming donations

  • Maintaining a clean and organized space to ensure safe food handling
