The Transgender Residential Experience (T-REx) is an intentional living community housed in East Neighborhood. T-REx is a residential space designed specifically for transgender and gender nonconforming students looking for inclusive and affirming housing on campus. Health Promotion and Engagement has partnered up with Live On and the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center to help provide gender affirming supplies to students residing in the T-REx community.
The gender affirming supplies currently offered include:
- Chest binders
- Chest binding tape
- Breast forms
- Pocket bras
- Tucking kits
- Packers
Our mission in Health Promotion and Engagement is to expand our definition of sexual wellness to be inclusive and holistic in its scope, by now considering the role of gender identity and expression in sexual wellness.
